Eddie has recently had a weekend holiday with the local RNLI to Windermere and fulfilled one of his lifelong ambitions to visit the Laurel and Hardy Museum in Ulverston. Here are a couple of photos taken on the day.

Eddie's daughter Wendy has had a little baby girl called Lucy May, on Thursday 9th Aug.  Congratulations to Wendy and husband Darren and I am sure we will have a family photo on the site soon.

Eddie is pleased to announce that he has now retired from Beach Safety for Denbighshire council and is looking forward to taking it easy over the coming summer months.  Eddie has been in the job of Lifeguard since the early 1970's and has only taken 3 seasons off when he was tempted away for wrestling tours abroad.  He took the position as Beach Lifeguard Supervisor in the late 1980's until today.  He wants to thank the Leisure Services, RNLI and The Coastguard for all the support he has been shown in that time.

The other piece of good news Eddie wishes to announce is that his daughter Wendy is expecting her first baby in August 2007 and here is the photo he chose to go with this story.  He already has 3 grandsons (Jonathan, Joshua and Jack) by his son Ronnie.  I am sure you would all like to wish Wendy and her husband all the best and we will post photos of the new baby later in the year.

Eddie has been back to the hospital on Friday 19th May 2006 and is delighted to tell you that he has been given the all clear from his Doctors.  He has made a 100% recovery and would like to thank everyone who has sent their best wishes.

Eddie is doing well, he has been going to the gym on a weekly basis, doing light work outs and should be back to work soon. The Doctors are very happy with his progress and he has asked me to pass on this news to you. For a man who had a heart attack just over 3 months ago, you will agree that he looks great. This photo has been taken with fellow wrestler Johnny Palance.

Eddie has sent me a Thank You letter and wanted me to publish it on the site for all the people who sent Get Well cards and e-mails.

Eddie suffered a heart attack on Thursday 26th May 05.  He is recovering but it will be a few months before he will be back to work.  Thanks to all the wrestlers and fans who have e-mailed in with their Best Wishes for a speedy recovery.

Amongst those e-mails was one from Adrian Street and new wife Linda. For those of us who remember 'the golden years' of British wrestling, we knew Linda under the name of Blackfoot Sioux.   They married on the 16th April 2005 in Las Vegas, whilst there for the American Annual gathering of wrestlers, known as ' Cauliflower Alley Club'  and Adrian has sent us a photo of the happy couple.  They were married by Father Jason Saunderson,  an ordaned priest, who also wrestles under the name of Wolfman.
